I find cars a kind of an extension of human personal freedom, as I have the agency to drive anywhere where I want. I guess trains are more "totalitarian", as they only drive on set routes and need a lot of people to service. Still

I think it's crucial to very early on understand the scope, rules and UI of the game: what is possible? what is the goal? what are the elements to interact with? then it's all about exposure and deliberate practice

Two money aspects that I find useful, which weren't mentioned in the article: Price per use: if I buy X, how much/often will I use it vs. it's price Time sacrifice: considering my current hourly wage, how many hours of my lif

I have to chuckle a bit each time I read about “living wages” and such in the developed world, having spent my years from 18-24 on an equivalent of about 250$/month in Eastern Europe. And yes, I also had to pay my rent from that money

I understand, but appetite/hunger seems to be just a part of the issue. The second part being people (myself included) using food to comfort ourselves. I feel bad -> I seek tasty food to comfort myself, even if I am not hungry. The

At a risk of being ignorant: Isn’t obesity a function of calories intake and calories burn rate? If so, why do we even need a drug for that? What should a possible drug target here? Assuming no changes in behaviour and thus a continued stea

I have the same feeling with streaming movies - it is often easier to watch them illegally then to pay for them and watch them legally. But I also suspect I can’t be the only one in this situation, so I assume the problem has go be global a

I can’t be the only one who is rubbed in a very bad way by Musks moronic tweets. The Mad King’s Twitter behaviour seem more and more trumpesque.
