Well, true, IE doesn't support <canvas> out of the box, but you can make it support it with something like excanvas. http://excanvas.sourceforge.net/

Your user experience really needs some fixing up. I won't talk too much about your UI, because you said you're working on that, and it has HUGE flaws right now (you sign up and the first page you reach is like a void). Your user should be g

This player is nothing special. You can find the original Flash<->JS interface, by Scott Schiller, here: http://www.schillmania.com/projects/soundmanager2/ It's an awesome piece of work, and has been around for years.

I'm sure you can find a startup somewhere in London who will be more than happy to have an extra pair of hands around the place. Find startups and start calling. This is assuming you're not looking for a paid placement. Paid placements are

They are not going to compare well, because they are NOT designed to be the same thing, or find the same data. Stop comparing them Apples to Apples, people.

I think it's very possible – if you have another source of income to pay for rent, computers, food etc.. My development has going strong with no extra investment on my part, other than time.

I guess Apple weren't wrong when they said people want a full size screen and keyboard. 6 months later, I'm very happy with my MacBook Air, and I'm glad I chose it over a netbook. In fact, it's become my primary computer.

The problem with the flu virus situation is not the fact that the pigs are fed drugs (that's a different ballgame..) but instead that they are kept housed so closely together that diseases can spread really fast. In the same way that you ar

I think everyone is missing the point. If you install and enable the Ghostery extension, it is because you want the extension to do its thing. There is no valid reason why another extension should deliberately and specifically disable this

Gates might have done a lot of unsound things in the past, but it's so nice to see he's using his money to help others, not to bathe in. This is very exciting, and although some of these ideas sound crazy, something great might just come ou

I don't think a faceoff is appropriate, from what I can gather about Wolfram Alpha. Google and Alpha do two entirely different things. Google is like a Yellow Pages for the internet, and Alpha is more like an Encyclopaedia. Google finds res

Good point, I didn't think about that. If you can't write well because you are just sloppy and don't care, then I think it's your own fault... but, of course, that might not be the case if you have a learning problem (no, that doesn't make
