Probably going to take some heat for this answer, especially as many of the comments here are very negatively Google, but I actually think that was pretty balanced. Sure they're (obviously) protecting their own interests, but realistic

Illustrator has an export SVG function (as opposed to just saving as an SVG, which I was doing and then using a minifer for a long time) that will minify it for you. That said, it currently appears unable to reopen those minified SVGs (go f

I posted this the other day. Absolutely terrible, IMO. A minor artist can take millions from an artist who releases a song with a passing resemblance. You can hear similarities in SO many songs. And SO many songs are inspired by others - gr

I don't mind many apps - perhaps that's even a good thing, I can choose the one with the UX that works best for me - but they all need to work from the same system. The app I use has a chance to get any taxi from all the connected

The problem with competition is the fracturing in the market. It's just as painful to install 6 taxi apps as it was to call 6 taxi companies and see when they could get you a ride. More so, it's really frustrating when the drivers

In many cases I don't think social media helps young men OR women at all. To summarise a discussion I had with a friend who has teenager kids recently - when we were growing up we had magazines telling us what was 'cool'. Mus

If I could upgrade the SSD for about the same, I'd probably just keep using this until it died. Alas, upgrading that is a bit of a faff.

I'm still using my MBA from mid 2013. It's a wonderful thing. Battery is "replace soon" but it's mostly plugged in. It's battered and bruised, but still fast enough. I've been debating a change for a while
