Every time I had to get in touch with support person at Namecheap I've had very good experience. No matter if I had a presales question or was asking for technical advice, there was a real person to talk to, via live chat or email. I&#

A similarly specced ThinkPad or Latitude is built to last, has user-replaceable components and will not fall apart in 2 years after a warranty expires. From my experience you get what you pay for with those professional machines.

If you find yourself itching to play a retro FPS on your modern machine, give DUSK [0] a try. The style is on point. This game is ugly where it counts, the environments are blocky and grotesque. The guns have satisfying sounds and animation

You can apply the skills that you learn in any job, not just the dull ones. The skills that you learn by implementing this kind of setup are valuable to lots of interesting jobs I'd say.

I'm adding my voice to this thread. I used to browse and post a lot on reddit. Mostly in the subreddits relevant to my interests and hobbies, but sometimes I'd open /r/all and drown in the algorithm-generated feed. It wa

I'm wondering why do people need the "performant phone". All the Android phones that I've had or seen in the last few years run the OS and apps with no issues. The amount of RAM might limit the multi-tasking, but otherwi

It is totally legal to pirate content where I live now, and where I've lived before. Still, I pay for video games on Steam or for Spotify. Hell I even buy music on Bandcamp. I do this because it's convenient and because I want to

It's a valid question though. So many of my colleagues in software engineering want to be baristas, or bake bread, or grow organic marijuana! But I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.
