Zero on average every 3 months is a lot different than zero ever. Reddit is a website most of its users use long term, not some random app you might use once a week or once a month. Their app will be downloaded a lot, and having tens of m

Glad to hear emulator performance has improved so drastically. Did the Android team take the time to tackle the, what, 5 year old bug that prevents retina computers from seeing the screen clearly yet? Kinda of a huge pain in the ass and mak

Pretty sure the game files are encrypted and all the consoles have a secure chip which decrypts them. Getting files from the game disc is easy, reading them isn't.

Well they chose him to represent them for a reason presumably, and it may be related to his ability to speak well. He's a little over the top but not to a fault in my opinion. It's close though.

I've been following Justin for a while on Snapchat. He's always doing something interesting and offering helpful advice, as well as just providing some insight into the culture of YC. I think he's a great choice for managing

That's not a terrible theory. The UX of holding the screen down is terrible because it's completely hidden and requires you to guess. Not sure why they opted to include it in the first place.

I'd recommend copying any particular CSS transitions they use, and looking at the computed properties of components in order to recreate any particular WinJS components you need. I'd also recommend you evaluate WinJS yourself and

Small recommendation for folks looking to use JS for Windows development (I understand this is just a runtime, but people may be inclined to combine these two things): do not use WinJS for any reason. It's undoubtably the worst UI &quo

Yeah you could probably write a program to put a TV in virtual space and use a live video stream as a texture.

I figured this would be the case. This fact will contribute to lots of interesting discussions in the future regarding whether or not we should move away from JS and if so, how. Obviously having something like React is still hugely benefici

You're probably over analyzing this. I don't need someone to tell me how to run if I want to go for a run, regardless of my experience level. But sure, having a personal trainer is important for certain types of workouts.

Sort of, but not really. That library is sort of solving the same problem that React Three solves. React Three UI allows you to design 2D UIs (using flexbox, animations, etc.) that can be placed in 3D space using the existing React Three AP

I agree, and actually the same can be done the other way around. You can create a React component that handles 99% of all your Three.js code then just have that and this UI used together at a high level. Three.js' API is great for 3D p
