All I got from this is Bill is really into butt stuff. It's not as though Google is actually preventing these topics from being discovered or censoring their existence, but rather Google doesn't want to be an enabler for anyone se

I just wrote my own... Seems like adding an entire library for this is definitely overkill. var emojify = function(message) { var codes = [ '\ud83c[\udf00-\udfff]', '\ud83d[\udc00-\ude4f]

This is precisely why I thought Digits was such a terrible idea (check my comment history, it's there.) SMS is so incredibly insecure that anyone relying on it should not consider themselves security savvy. SMS TFA is lipstick on a pig

Ehh, I don't think that means email is dying for younger people. I'm 20 and email is essential for a lot of things. Everyone I know (which is a fairly broad scope of people) has email and uses it. Everyone gets email at some point

Digits sounds like a good idea in theory, but relying on SMS for password security is like relying SMS for anything. Even if SMS were secure on its own (meaning traffic was encrypted - which it isn't anyway) you still have the problem

I was at work today and decided to buy the new Halo game that comes out in three weeks. Paid in two taps, and was notified that my Xbox at home would be turned on immediately and the game would begin to download. Sure enough I got home and

I don't know about your comma statement. I never have a problem writing symantically correct JSON by hand - though there are limited use cases where you should need to do so anyway. If your IDE isn't marking invalid JSON syntax yo

I would always encourage using a library over not using one - if you're not using a library you're just going to end up making your own anyway to "save time" - might as well start with something everyone already knows. I

Anyone who isn't using jQuery because "modern sites usually depend on browser native dom methods" is just being an asshole, honestly. If most big sites are using it, you can use it. I just checked: Twitter, Outlook.com, Strip

Speaking of Docker on AWS - has anyone had trouble with deployments on micro instances? I'm able to deploy once, then subsequent deployments are killed due to a lack of free memory. This seems like a great setup that I'd love to t

The stability of this appears questionable. Anything at high speed looks dangerous - for example: tight cornering, and hard breaking. At $1000 I'm wondering why I'd be compelled to purchase a less versatile bike (than say, a Kona

That may be a reason why they're offering it for free - it does seem more like a downgrade (somewhere between 7 and 8) than an upgrade (somehow jumping up two major versions for a smaller than average feature set.)
