How? That's exactly what it's for. The attacker would attempt to sign in on their machine and would be prompted to enter a code.

So many screw ups here because of bad or no company policy. It's hard to feel bad for these guys. No live/voice confirmation between the CEO and CFO during the transfer of $700,000 worth of Bitcoins? No confirmation with the pur

Yet another missed opportunity to call it Google Goggles. Not serious enough of a name? Release a product and people will take the project more seriously.

I agree, also a big benefit of having CS in schools is just in getting kids exposed to it. Would be nice if they named it something a little more friendly too, as I'm sure Conputer Science scares some people off.

I've used both but I'm not part of the Appcelerator cult like most people who have invested in it apparently. Appcelerator is bad. Their OSS license is sketchy last I checked. But that's not its only problem. The community is

Actually no, POCs have been made which allow you to deploy setups which allow for live updating apps in production. Apple even allows RCE as long as it's executed in the JS engine.

Only the states that can be global need to be global. It's not an anti pattern to manage state inside the component.

Networking is a nearly trivial layer on top of the Flux pattern. I've found this especially true with Redux with the ability to easily wait on promises to mute state. Meteor has its own problems too. The nice thing about Flux architect

That sounds like a ton of work for any moderately sized application. It also seems like it would have diminishing returns as your app gets bigger, as that's when these architectures start to get useful. I have to be skeptical that your

Yeah my guess was based on the birthday paradox. Though now I see that yes the software probably chose a random number between 1 and 365 so the birthday paradox wouldn't apply.

What are the odds that it gave me the same birth date as my actual birth date? Month and day, but not year. That's quite the coincidence, though I suspect it's only something like 1:60.

Technical answer without looking would be that either they're sending the data as an octet stream or Chrome is interpreting it as such. Works for me, go figure.

That's an important note, indeed. Flux is a pattern as well as a library that represents an implementation of the pattern. Redux is another implementation (and a better one at that, in my opinion.) Specifically regarding Greyrest'

I don't know much about battery tech but I get the feeling that "rut" is actually just their business model. Hard to sell a lot of batteries/phones/etc. that work forever.

A word of caution: you're probably right. React, Angular, Backbone cover most use cases and are proven in production, well known, and well understood. Unless you're a big company with hard problems, why should anyone pay attention

ML is very difficult for porn. You end up with so many false positives it almost becomes useless compared to human moderation. "Porn" is also a very context sensitive term. What is porn vs. nude art? Is it still porn if the people
