Hospitals need a "SpaceX" - some company that comes in that's fairly well funded and capable, starts out small and proves that there's a lot to gain from using a different process than the typical ones currently employed

I used Apple Music a lot today - I didn't really find anything majorly off-putting about the UI. There were a few quirks which I'll let Apple off the hook for, seeing as they haven't dramatically changed their Music app in 9

Not sure what you were expecting though? I mean, it's a radio station. They're going to play all sorts of music. Today was the first time The Chronic by Dr. Dre has been streamable and so they played it on Beats 1 (the whole album

This is neat - it could use a background color option along with the ability to fill the logo with white.

I don't think minimaxir was "dissing" voat.co, just stating facts. As for voat's success, I can't see how it can ever hope to supersede reddit - or even come close to competing with reddit - given that it is indee

It's an invasion of privacy for either you or (if you don't care) your contacts' privacy. You're probably on the wrong forum if you don't consider these "features" to be overreaching.

I think this argument could have been made with Nodejs and React Native, but we've seen how those worked out.

React actually doesn't address that concern. With that being said, React is often used with Flux, which does seek to separate business logic from presentation logic.

Many do static parsing. I found even Atom's Autocomplete+ is far too primitive to be of much use. Whereas VS Code doesn't even support JSX and yet it does a better job at autocompleting.

Hmm... When your tech works this well, do you want to get acquired? This reminds me of Pied Piper in the way that it's just so much better than anything else out there. Applications for something like this stretch beyond a personal ass

About 4 months away now I think. But you could conceivably use something like Reapp until React Native supports Android. That's what I'll likely end up doing. Not ideal but React Native has already saved me so much time I'm n

I'm using React Native as a web developer who wants to create a native app. Native performance with the familiarity and simplicity of web devlopment. I don't know why anyone would build a Cordova app anymore.
