I actually think wind farms look really relaxing and cool, and love driving past them. But that's just individual aesthetic preferences.

That's what I don't get here that worries me. It feels either like a ticking time-bomb to deprecation, and/or a privacy nightmare if they're somehow selling data they mine from their users.

Why hate? Just don't read. Obviously people will sometimes express their opinions on societal trends and products, especially in their blogs.

I'm actually pretty interested in the hardware and form factor, and absolutely un -interested in the corpo backend services. I wonder if it's possible to homebrew this odd little square.

They're almost an interactive art project that somehow got enough of an audience to sell their artwork en masse. I'm very glad they exist, but I'm always a bit flummoxed by what they make and manage to sell.

A healthy chunk of media from the 80s to the 2000s is hard to get released because of the copyright thicket caused by the shows sampling other media. It sucks, and I don't know what the answer is.

Opinionated formatters are the way out of this. Black, as you mention, is a godsend. I'm really disappointed by how weak the dotnet formatter is in comparison.

Making the justice system actually prove its cases instead of leaning on trumped up nonsense like cannabis is a very good thing. If somebody guilty of a bigger crime is actually released because of this, the AG's prosecutor bears the g

I've seen a pre-launch test mule EV in the wild from a "legacy" automaker. Aside from the weird paint job they always have, it looked absolutely fine. This close to launch, we should not be seeing the kind of build issues we&

Maybe it's regional? I've been given rental Subarus with this feature and it adds up really fast in my experience -- minutes in a day even. Honestly I think it's pretty cool, and you get a more reliable starter as a bonus.

On the contrary, I've professionally seen even technical users get confused by their OS hiding the scroll bar, and them not realizing what they're looking for requires scrolling. Frankly, it's broken behavior.

I mean, this happened a long long time ago. LibreOffice inherited approximately 100% of developer effort. The problem is that Apache is effectively lying about OpenOffice still being a thing, and trapping less-savvy users who aren't aw

I genuinely find this point of view viscerally repulsive. Maybe it's a common perspective, but I pray not. It really seems to be at the heart of a lot of issues with legal systems.
