The first question I had when watching this was how this robot doesn’t fall over with just these two tiny wheels. The center of mass is much higher than on a Segway, for example, isn’t it?

Why not run both and use the result retrieved the fastest.

I guess now is the best time to switch to Linux. MacOS 26 being super sluggish and looking like a soap bubble game for children. Windows becoming a SkyNet OS. Meanwhile Steam just announced their new hardware on SteamOS, emphasizing that us

This is about Low-rank adaptation. Not to be confused with LoRa the long range proprietary radio communication technique, which hopefully doesn't learn at all.

It would be hilarious to include the song instead of the license text in a codebase

Does finished mean it doesn't get updates at all or just no new features? Because most software today has some kind of communication / network connection and therefore could have security vulnerabilities. If these are not patched

Should be "docker run -p 8080:80 kanboard/kanboard" But then not sure what username / password to use. The docs definitely could be structured better.

Though there is herunterladen as a verb, there is no noun for download(s). “Herunterlad(s)” doesn’t quite cut it. So because the term Download is already used as a noun why noy use downloaden as the verb.

I can imagine they “fixed” it by just sending the telemetry now to the TLD so nobody complains any longer.

Have you checked out Elixir? - Can be deployed to Heroku or Fly.io without much effort - Well designed tools like mix - There is a thriving community - "basic open source libraries" highly depends on the context, but yes there are

Exactly this! They litteraly treat audiobooks like a music album. Randomize tracks? Check! Not storing where the audiobook was stopped? Check! Featuring actual personal mixtapes of chapters taken from multiple books? Check! With that exper

Whenever I read something like this I am wondering if there was still some TV without any of these „smart“ features. Just a screen and the receiver for television. Then I can connect an Apple TV, Xbox, PlayStation or whatever. Isn’t there

Working for a bigger company I’m hesitant to go for a walk as that would mean I need to stay longer in the afternoon/evening. Even when going for a walk solves the problem, there is still little acceptance to count it as working hours

That paragraph is strange to me, too. First he says you should not waste time or let others steal your time. But then he goes on that you definitely should spend time on philosophy. And when philosophy raises more questions than it answers

I just saw the movie for the first time and had quite some expectations. It was the directors cut. And while the overall setting was interesting and there were quite good scenes in it, for me it was just too long and I found it quite boring

What if I told you that you can have both? For me it's ctrl when I hold it down and use it with another key and esc when I press it briefly. Can be set up on a Mac with Karabiner Elements.

A bit late to the show, but I'm trying to use Pharo on an M1. It runs for sure, however the interface is blurry. Seems like it doesn't know how to render hi dpi. Is there some setting to get that right?
