One thing I quickly learned when I got into GCP was that you must absolutely not try to use that interface. If it can’t be done with the CLI, it’s best to just close the computer and go outside instead.

Agreed. Its so tedious that the top comment section on every HN post the last six months is "this seems be written by LLM" with a bunch of back and forth on whether it is or not.

I think the idea is that security scanners ran by companies like Wiz and Aquasec etc will pick this up in that timeframe, not that you sit around and wait for others to get compromised.
