FWIW, Paypal rendered as completely blank pages (home and login / payment pages) in FF/Ubuntu until a couple days ago. Not sure when this started, but I've seen it before on some of their payment pages.

In Germany, vast parts of Facebook have become one big ugly hate fest. I've read so much utterly terrible crap in the past few days (in the aftermath of the NYE events in Germany), that I'm still sick to the stomach. People are co

I find your comment overly dismissive, let's apply this position to painting for comparison: "It's all bullshit. It's oil on canvas. Some people make really great oil on canvas and the majority of them happen to be (whit

Maybe you are being downvoted because you seem to have no problem whatsoever with the idea of exiling millions of people solely based on their ethnicity / faith?

Obviously it's just as despicable to say that the Gulags never happened. It's not much of an issue though in Germany / Europe, no one's really claiming that, probably since it wouldn't feed into any popular / p

The key difference is that denying the Holocaust is a couple orders of magnitude more hurtful to a lot of people than denying "flat Earth", creation, of evolution.

How would one monopolist price more competitively than a number of competing vendors? Consumers need competition, producers avoid it where they can. Competition sucks from a producers perspective -- price equals marginal cost and profit is

I think one of the reasons here is that a lot of UX people don't work on products, they work on projects. And once you've handed in your deliverables, you move on to the next project and never ever look back.
