This is incredible. I made an example using David Bowie's "Changes". A bit robotic, but even the echo is still present in the vocal track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPlmrq_rAzQ

I would say transparency/security, quality of the client(s) and customer service, in that order. It's one thing to offer a VPN service, but to make sure you have a nice app on both iOS, Android, MacOS, Windows and Linux seems like

Apparently The Wirecutter now recommends TunnelBear and Mullvad because they post regular transparency reports and do third-party audits. https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-vpn-service/

I've done some light editing on OSM and i was surprised by how usable the default web editor is. Uploading GPX tracks and editing them on the map is pretty easy as well. Can recommend to anyone who is even slightly interested in contri

I've supported multiple Patreon campaigns, and i didn't recognise this logo. It's not featured prominently on their homepage and mailings. Calling something that looks like a simple oversight 'a red flag for dishonesty&#

A red flag for what? For not properly looking up if a design already exists?

Like many people already mentioned in this thread, it's silly to attribute bike safety in the Netherlands to just this. To get a better view on why bike safety is so much better here, i think this video really explains it very well i

Yes, a nice release blog post can be so much more than just a list of closed tickets. I think the WordPress team usually does a good job, e.g. https://wordpress.org/news/2017/11/tipton/

That's a good point. How do native apps that offer pull-to-refresh handle this?

+1. I'm the exact opposite. I've been offered remote jobs a couple of times, but there's just something about going to an office, talking with people in real life, even getting interrupted during work is something i tend to l

Afaik, Chrome(ium) no longer has support for the Mac keychain and uses some kind of mechanism of its own :/

Really nice, and works excellent on mobile. One minor grudge: the notes seem to be just a tad small for touch on mobile.

The difference to me with other frameworks (most notably Angular) is that the transition from Vue 1.0 to 2.0 was relatively smooth. I've migrated a couple of smaller applications and that was done in just a couple of minutes. If Vue ke

Apart from a wonderful end to a lovely YouTube channel this essay easily surpasses most 'lessons learned' articles i've read. Kudos to Tony and Taylor for having the motivation to write this down.

I heavily used Bootstrap 2/3 in projects before, but the last two years or so i really don't need such a large CSS framework anymore. Especially with all major browser supporting Flexbox grid-like layouts have become so much easie

Opus is not supported in IE11 and Safari (both iOS and Mac). If you take the 'global' statistics from caniuse.com that's about 37% of all people. I wouldn't call a technology that's only available to 63% of your use
