So you're the person to talk to when interested in building something on top of DO? We love what you're doing guys; we built all kind of things early on to use your API with Python, node.js and Go (things like https://g

Hands down the best team I've had the pleasure of meeting so far; these guys have a track record of building awesome stuff. Looking forward to use this on our next project.

matmik, not sure you remember but we met in SF. I'm still amazed at the level of polish your product has. Lots of subtle animations and transitions. What tools did you use to produce the video?

Honest question; can you point me at these apps? The only stuff I've seen so far is either tracking external data (running, walking, activity, ...) or requires input (for calories for example). There are some dabbling with more interes

Fair enough. That being said: 1. It matters to me because I see this as a waste of resources (hardware, software, brains) for something that is near obvious. While it's anyone's choice to consume the way they want, I am just mora

Do you really need an app to tell you you're not eating healthy? Nutrition and exercise aren't that hard; your body is able to let you know fairly easily when you're messing up, if not immediately at least over time. I have a

IMHO, you don't need personalized data for this kind of stuff. More seriously, there's plenty of literature out there about these things; spend 5 minutes on Google and you'll find all of these recommendations. You'll kno

Beautiful website indeed; there are a lot of carefully crafted details, especially for navigation. I genuinely wonder though what to do of it. I can't seem to see what people do with all this data; what does one get from knowing how ma

I agree with you about JSON. YAML Front Matter (like in Jekyll), allows you to have a mix of both markdown (for the bio part) and structured fields (for the education, past experiences, diplomas etc). Works for websites, should work for you

A JSON or YAML structure, like http://jsonresume.org/ , may be a better approach. Markdown is great at doing regular content, not so much when it comes to dealing with structured data, which is mostly what a resume is: colle

I've been thinking about exporting my resume to a similar format (hResume or equivalent) for a while; I find LinkedIn of little value for me. I can imagine that for certain people it offers opportunities to "network", but in

Somehow, in my head, I heard it as "Call Me Maybe". You can `git clone git@github.com:Wiredcraft/Moleskin.git` and then open the example in `examples/angular/index.html`.

Agreed. We actually wrote a WYSIWYG editor on top of Markdown last year ( https://github.com/wiredcraft/moleskin ) but never ended up pushing it out: Markdown is simple as it is, syntax highlighting should be enough.

On a personal level, I'm very excited to know that I won't have to try and integrate Alipay in any of our products anymore. It's nightmare to deal with, even for our Chinese team. But for Stripe, it's a huge step forward
