You are correct - I forgot what a massive market laptops are. I wouldn't personally consider an AMD-based laptop just yet, hopefully that will change soon! Exciting times.

The only thing holding up Intel at the moment is their gaming IPC. Should AMD crack that then it'll be brutal for them (if it isn't already).

A real coder. Heh guys we have a real coder here. He gets paid and everything! Not a factor. I also know people that don't have a problem with the MBP keyboard, I also know many colleagues who are driven to distraction daily (mysel

Vitamin C is a myth, Vitamin D3 however does affect the immune system. Best taken with magnesium and calcium. Also important for bone health. Most people would benefit from vitamin D3 supplements in the darkest months. https://ww

Wow that really is depressing. Why doesn't Australia use the massive potential of Solar? They must have million square miles to spare which has year-round (very strong) sunlight? Even at relatively low yields, it would be huge. Edit: j

Why are you thinking? You are anticipating various scales of "the future", using memories of past events. As computers try to anticipate the future more, they may also start to "experience" things.

I live by a couple of (vaguely related) principles: a) Consciousness is just your brain trying to anticipate the future. b) Your brain compresses (normalises?) repetition in memories. So even if day to day events happen at normal speed, the

Yes, you can be spiritual to an extent. That's very different from the gods described in most religious texts. It's becoming pretty clear how everything since the big bang came to be.

If you really want to suppress religion just educate your population. Higher levels of education are linked with lower levels of religious commitment, especially the more extreme versions of zealotry. I don't really understand how some
