The best way to understand is probably to try it. I feel lost whenever I‘m outside a Fish shell. Other shells don’t provide as much immediate feedback. I never use it for scripting though. Fish script language is about as unintuitive as Bas

Customers want consistency. That’s why management turns people into a reliable system where anyone can quit without affecting the outcome of the system. Just like engineers think about software as a system, business people think about compa

OpenAI showed they can do capability extrapolate/predict (training loss) for the amount of compute they put in [1, see Predictable Scaling section]. This is also in line with earlier findings. Furthermore, there is no evidence at this

I didn’t know this was possible. The RedMagic 9 Pro puts the camera and fingerprint sensors in between the LED diodes. Very cool tech-wise.

If you want to do such a random approach then do buy a bit off all because then you‘re upside goes toward infinite while downside is at most 100%. If you short, your downside goes toward infinite. Plus the market can stay irrational longer

This article paints a very negative picture. It might feel "safe" to always focus on the bad things, but optimists typically get more done. Would Torvalds ever have started working on the Linux kernel if he wasn't an enormous
