This is unbelievable. As in, I literally can't believe it. There's no way they've come up with a full-resolution, head-mounted, transparent, additive and multiplicative display attached to a computer vision system capable o

Is the FAA's problem here that the drone was involved in a monetized video, or that it was carrying the camera that recorded the monetized video? I wonder if this would apply equally to other drone-related video production techniques:

Completely beside the point of the article, but just seeing a url like "/customer/33245/order/8769" makes me anxious that the author might give multiple customers the same order number.

I was about to say "come on, nothing beats IRC", but then I remembered how I always wanted IRC to have LDAP, XMPP, and a REST API. So... can I connect with my IRC client?

Lack of funds doesn't even sound like the biggest problem here. If the project relies on one guy, what happens when he's gone? Seems like something this important should have a higher bus factor. http://en.wikipedia.org

Well, it could maybe be an opt-in feature, like when a site requests to use your webcam or microphone. A small prompt that the server is requesting to access your identity or something.

This question might be hilariously naive... but why don't web browsers make signed requests, just as web servers make signed responses? If I create an account on a website, then associate a public key with my account, shouldn't th
