So rather than quietly update their language to allow for better analysis and detection of malignant content by 3rd parties, they're pushing the problem into the darker corners of the internet. Not a great plan.

But we've also never been at a point in history where a "respectable" publication can blast erroneous information out at the scale the Post did. They might not lose the in a trial, but there needs to be reconning of some sort

It'll certainly be interesting to see where the appeal goes. I need to read the opinion, but my initial inclination is that the judge should have let it go to trial.

It's almost like there were good reasons for strict legal and religious positions on monogamy and marriage for thousands of years all around the globe. Not to say your statement is invalid or that it's time for a shift, just a rem

This is undoubtedly contributory to the housing shortage. People wastefully living by themselves in space which could house 2 or more individuals are selfishly hurting both the younger generation and the environment. I'd expect nothing

A big driver of this is the relatively non-existent zoning laws in most of Texas. It's broadly the case (and accepted and defended by people with lots of guns) that you should be free to do just about anything you want on land you own.

The Federal Government and it's capacity to meddle should be minimized whenever possible. State and local governments are better suited for addressing the issues of their constituents.

Your comment is probably going to inspire a lot of people to start self hosting remote repos during the downtime today. As with most things, it'll start great, but a lot of those people will be in tears in a few weeks. Great power; gre

Yes. It's easier to run an entirely unified society in a centralized fashion than it is to run a free-for-all. Your monoculture must necessarily be authoritarian to enforce the cultural and ideological policies. It's also extremel
