I've been thinking about something like this as well, for Rust. I went back and forth with chatgpt trying to get how this would work and look, asked chatgpt to write a doc (warning not proof read, just an AI doc) : https://d

It's also weird to call democracies countries that impose their rule over people that have no say in said rule.

Depends on the monetization strategy. Google pays Apple a ton to be the search engine. But yea, if xAI isn't going for ads, this is a pretty bad sign.

Duolingo is just a mobile game where you role play learning a language. Similar to how you role play being an emperor in Civ: you learn a thing or two but it's no where near what the real thing is. That's fine as a game!

I am so excited about diffusion language models. They may be the piece we need to make our voice-to-code game mechanic be as smooth as we envision it. Cerebras and Groq are amazing, but the fact that they use custom hardware really limits t

I love the idea! I think the problem will be defining wether there is a cache-hit or not, since "agents" are loosely defined and the tasks include basically anything.

Can I run this as an embedded DB like sqlite? Can I sidestep the DSL? I want my LLMs to generate queries and using a new language is going to make that hard or expensive.

LLMs are fantastic for learning anything. But the learning happens when you bang your head. It has to hurt the same way going to the gym hurts. If it doesn't, you're not training and probably you're not really learning.

Of course, but the problem is not that I am not interested, it's the contrary I am instinctively attracted to it! If it was lack of interest I wouldn't need to place so much friction between me and Twitter.

I logged odd Twitter and can only access it through an eink device. I am much saner now. I really enjoy reading the community here chime in on current events, but I also lament that I can't shield my online consumption from the news.

Yes, that would be indeed very interesting. I would like to try something like this in Rust: - you use a macro to stub out the body of functions (so you just write the signature) - the build step fills in the code and caches it - on failure
