I'm not busy, and still burnt out. Not having enough of value to do can also burn you out.

Yeah, but it doesn't tell you the sequence all at once. So you don't know that it's going to tell you to hold near reader, but you know that it needs to be held there, so you try to hold it there while you authenticate, which

Why? Just make me choose shipping and discount options, then present me payment options. All Apple needs to know is the total to charge. Shopify just fucks this up by only having an option to enter a discount code after you've already

This is great, but the arguments about how this is Actually Very Practical And Not At All Just A Fun Concept are laughable.

Because I might apply different ones, making them useless in aggregate if I assume anything I like has to be a 4 or 5, but you assume that you'll rate anything you like as low as a 2, and reserve just 1 for "don't watch it&qu

Thinking like this loses you candidates who are applying to multiple places. It's so hubristic to think that your job couldn't possibly be equally desirable to others.

Treating red lights as stop signs is sensible and safe - I'm even fine with not stopping if you have clear line of sight at all angles. One thing car owners like to forget is that cars make you mostly blind to your surroundings. While

Of course they're not, and anyone concern-trolling about e-scooters while accepting cars as a normal and irreplaceable part of our streetscapes isn't really concerned about safety.

I believe medical debt is no longer allowed on credit reports now. Maybe this is to get around that?

Yikes. Hopefully paid? What if the candidate is currently employed? Where do you expect them to find the time, knowing that they are not likely to be only applying to your company, but to others as well?

Snow Leopard is such rose-colored-glasses nostalgia. That release was buggy as hell too and only came to be the "rock-solid" release that people love after like 8 months of bugfixes and patches.

Making biking preferable and easier and faster is a great way to reduce fuel consumption by getting people out of cars and onto bikes. The best way to reduce fuel consumption is to make driving undesirable.

This is a web standard thing (though I believe FF's implementation may be proprietary.) Safari, Chrome, etc. have it, why would you not expect Firefox to? It's very useful for browsing while you watch a video open in another tab.

those people who want a community of only people who think the same way as they do should move out far enough that they don't have neighbors.

You would never want to build a B line that doesn't have any ridership. The move here would not be to make it free, but to reconsider the project and re-align it with a route that would actually attract riders.
