Project.json for .net core is gone, there's xproj file. How to change settings, like target framework, per-framework dependencies, build options, pre/post build steps, etc? I don't see any tooling support for that.

All laptops have that issue, I have it on Asus Zenbook and Lenovo Thinkpad (had it on Win8, also present on Win10). Luckily, it's easy to disable all wake up events in Windows. But for average user this is a deal-breaker!

I was really looking forward to upgrade my paperwhite, but this is total disappointment. Almost 3x more $$ than paperwhite, but the very similar specs; LED lights are just fine on paperwhite, same DPI, same size, same touchscreen, absolutel

That's true, MVC and Webapi can do everything, like Rails, all functionalities you need and don't need are inside. Most .net devs are expecting that, compared to node devs where they would have everything splited into small packag

I would like hear arguments, what you don't like particularly? I'm not saying .net is the best web dev platform, not at all, but i wouldn't say it's worse than most. It has it's own set of pros/cons, like ever

Similar like they called new Core .net before, "cloud optimized" framework! It doesn't have absolutely nothing to do with cloud, but marketing department needs to push "cloud everything" because Satya said so. Usef

I had Moto G 2nd gen which is similar specs. Said I had, because it was so slow I couldn't use it at all. So slow that calls would drop because phone app took 10sec to open.

Looking at the post RTM plan, and I really hope they will de-prioritize VB work and push F# more! It has so big potential to attract wider community and bring back some good OSS devs. Except few big companies that needs to maintain legacy a
