What about any time you're working with frequent adds/deletes in arbitrary positions, rather than just at the end of the list? That's not a "niche algorithm" to me, but rather a reasonable use case. The add and dele

In Gothenburg, where Volvo is increasing the trials of electric buses, there are charging stations at the end of lines. So the bus charges roughly 10 minutes, twice per round trip. As an aside, riding them is very nice -- the noise level is

Fresh water is definitely a scarce resource in some parts of the world. To quote the article (my emphasis): > Coca-Cola keeps distribution costs low by tapping local water sources, a practice it has continued since the company’s early su

Agreed, I wasn't prepared for all the negative comments in this thread. I was a happy user of the Z830 for a long time, until it got stolen. Of course, I did spend a couple hours after the first installation to uninstall bloatware, and

Interesting, I haven't heard this argument before. So what is it about null that makes it more feasible here than for example option types/tagged unions? Also, regarding your third point, IMO the question mark syntax in for exampl

I agree regarding the convenience, but I'm not impressed at all by the Gmail search function. It doesn't even have any fuzzy matching – which seems crazy given what company we're talking about.

Both scrolling and panning (dragging) feels inverted to me! Specifically, it behaves the opposite way to for example Google Maps. (Scrolling away from the computer, towards me, takes me closer to the map. Dragging doesn't keep that map

If I read this correctly, you have to spoof the telephone number in order to get the address, and you only get it read out loud so automation isn't trivial. To me, it doesn't feel like a big deal, but that might be because in Swed
