Despite the quality look of the site, it appears to need a little work---at least so far as the sign-up mechanism goes. The twitter approach is broken. I don't have a get hub account so I didn't test that. I also (personal preference here)

For a guy (Jobs) who stood on the shoulders of a lot of people, I find this quote of an obvious rant indicative of some serious misunderstandings. BTW, he didn't steal the mouse from Xerox, he stole it from SRI down the street...

Although I've spent more than 30 years as a programmer, before that I spent 8 years as an art major so I know a little bit about how non-artist types steer away from this kind of thing. That said, there are a few things that might help. One

Interesting illustration. You might have gotten more recognition using the one of the Dore's though. Like this one http://dante.ilt.columbia.edu/images/dore/inf_01a.jpeg found at http://dante.ilt.columbia.edu/images/dore/inf.html but th

Regards the Nano, why would people rather walk than be seen in the 'world's cheapest car?' Given the funds and the availability I'd grab one in a moment---a mountain bike in a snow storm makes a very convincing argument that there must be a

Two things I'd add---learning design never stops. And the vast majority will be after formal training. Spend time looking at everything and ask why it works or why it doesn't work. Continue for life :) The second thing is harder---hang on t

While I'm busy kicking the kids off of my front lawn, let me pause to say that it fails in the same way that Emacs fails---first thing I want to see in a book on a process (language, editor, what-have-you) is how to get it started and how t

I seldom ever ask for 'citations' but in this instance the author makes a sweeping claim about everyone missing the mark when it comes to Ada Augusta, and then proceeds to quote the bulk of the existing work---none of which 'misses' anythin
