I understand the sentiment, but lets not get away from ourselves here, there is a huge difference between acquiring skills through physical activities and ingesting chemicals for a short period of bliss.

The victim badge is powerful. I wish there was a greater effort to hold spouses etc accountable, they are rarely innocent, and allowing the whole "I had no choice" charade just perpetuates the attitude that this is an okay defense

Research on this very subject was cited on a Norwegian show called Pulse, but it's too long since I saw it that I'd be able to find it again. There apparently is a correlation between wheat and sleepiness, for some.

Do go on, tell us how one book from one person makes all future scientific research redundant. While we're at it, lets go back to pi=3, like god intended.

That doesn't stop people trying to figure it out, and being consistently wrong on every turn doing so. HR stands as a shining example here, hiding behind "personality tests".

Except trains are largely autonomous, it's about wanting a human element in the operation, not requiring them. I see the same applying to a self-driven car, the human element is always present there in the form of passengers, who undo

Without the corresponding client, the codes are worthless, and trying to brute force with these as reference would be as useful as brute forcing from scratch?

By the time we'll be able to actually destroy our moon or send it off, I'm pretty sure we'll also have the tech to just borrow one from one of the other planets. Personally I would love Europa, but our distance to the sun wou

Why the focus on CO²? We're finding new potential disasters every other month. There's really no telling what CO² will do to the planet, even though we can guesstimate the result. What about the jellyfish boom? The consequences fo

This is clearly because of pirates and VHS! Sorry, and on a more serious note, I should hope this doesn't come as a surprise to anyone. Moving out a few years ago I ordered a 25/25 fiber line and completely dropped any form of cab

Tracing packages would do it, a false route would be longer as is explained in the article, where a package from Mexico suddenly -instead of just being sent north- is crossing the Atlantic and the length of Europe twice over, to get to D.C.

I never truly understood why Google shipped 4.4 with two SMS apps. Hangouts is cool, it lacks some features of the old SMS app like notification bar options. That's annoying, features shouldn't be stripped like that.
