I've had a couple webapps where I needed to use the FS API (which allows users to provide real, accessible folders to a webapp, unlike OPFS). I can't understand why anyone would want to use OPFS or what problems it solves that a s

Sentry is great. I help develop an open source game engine and they have given us a free team license for their product since it is open source. They've been invaluable for fighting crashes and regressions.

The before/after delta is very satisfying and clearly easier to work with. Very nice. How does the DSL handle side effects? I'm assuming any term here could be a compound expression, so what part of the system prevents "0*cal

Just today I had to reset my Dropbox password b/c it had a "`" character, and I was trying to use a self-service printer at FedEx. Their weird touch keyboard didn't have backticks.

Yes, it's true. There's a reason GPL is called copyleft. > Lest everyone using any flavour of Linux is liable to the same problem? The kernel is GPL. applications running on it in usermode are not constrained by the license. h

Since SQL takes arbitrary strings as input, this would require explicit compiler flags to disable the knobs you don't want. Can't rely on excluding unused symbols really.

My dream program is a tool that takes a video of a game on a pool table and feeds it into an interactive playback tool like this one. There's dozens of awesome shots I wish I could experience again on demand.

fixup lets you mark a change to be rolled back into a previous commit, without changing the history (yet). When you do `git rebase --autosquash` it then automatically moves those commits as `fixup` in the right places. It helps to queue up
