Yeah, you are right. They have done some substantial pieces and may not go as far as I would like, but certainly are beyond where most sports sites would venture. I mostly follow Basketball pretty well. Zach does a great job.

Having done some work with sports data in the past (with some pretty "viral" results) I know that roughly 75% - 90% of the ideas I started with ended up just not being compelling once I looked at the data. When the pressure is to

I had really high hopes for FiveThirtyEight. I really enjoyed the work of their roster of writers previously and respect Silver's work in both the political and sports arena. All that being said the format has left a lot to be desired

Not a bad offering from an undead company. The lack of remote shutter and connectivity severely limit the applications. With a remote shutter I'd be in for one just for retro-ness of using a Polaroid.

Been there recently. Have you seen this? http://mimobaby.com/ I ultimately decided more monitoring (we have audio/video/nest) was not going to help us. But still thought this product was cool.

Partially true. It's just as much about realizing your finances are in crisis and confronting it as much as it is preventing it. In fact there's large sections of the forum dedicated to just that. Or see here: http://

Everyone should be entitled to share their opinion. If we're going to choose to address this as a society via public funds it ought to be a matter of public discourse. That doesn't mean people should be tolerated for inflammatory

I didn't mean to sound dismissive. I think the early success is great. But I anticipate that the biggest question is going to be "will it scale?". Investors know that it's trickier than 1m+ bucks and some ambassadors.

"Finally, hotel reviews you can trust." I thought the beauty of TripADvisor and the like is that it does away with the old travel guides. Guides are written by people with even more questionable motive and are quickly outdated.
