It would be great if there was an API that lists the AWS regions. Currently it is up to the developer to maintain a hard coded list somewhere.

Krav Maga - much more practical than karate.

by hoodoof 10y ago
Boxing, judo, grappling and wrestling all are more practical than karate. The core issue with karate is that it is loaded with formal or ritualistic representations of fighting. Karate kicks, punches and blocks are all hopelessly unusable w

Have you not noticed that HN often rewrites titles to be more factual about the content of the target?

HN mods need to rewrite title to "Bushido seems not to be what people think it is."

The U.K., U.S. and Russia have already bombed the world with hundreds of atmospheric nuclear weapons in the mid 20th century. In effect there was a nuclear war, it's just that all the bombs were exploded on "friendly territory&quo

If you get a microscope and manage to peer into this secret hidey hole in the CPU you will see a bunch of tiny little NSA spooks, Russian and Chinese hackers scuttle away to hide in other dark hidden secret corners of the Intel CPU.
