The only difference between this and Overwatch going by those criteria is that OW is not as easy for first time players. You've hit it on the head, the key difference is that somehow Fortnite crossed the boundary to mainstream.

Along the lines of show, don't tell, the best one I've found is http://mightybyte.github.io/monad-challenges/ It helped me grok monads after I had a hazy understanding of them for a while.

100% this. If people want to push diversity initiatives, go for it, but I think there's no way that leads to real change without starting from the ground up i.e. cultivating childhood interest. Teaching about important women in CS help

I'd like to second the important of staffing. If we were in a perfect universe we could use domain oriented languages for every project because devs would be familiar and competent with them. Obviously that is not the case.

If you're referring to the tagging on Steam, it's in addition to the regularly displayed username. If you're not, I guess I'm not sure what you're talking about.

The former battle.net (now Blizzard App) does what many games do and has the form "Username #XXXX", where the xs are digits. So you can be Frank #0001 and I can be Frank #0002. Steam allows you to tag people on your list with user

Depends, I assume. The original Destiny had color palettes for every type of color blindness iirc, you could select whichever one you wanted. That was a really nice feature for a FPS, where you need to be able to determine allies/enemi

I'd agree particularly with domain modelling and being able to explain your decisions. Working on those helps both technical and interpersonal aspects of your work.
