Raspberry Pi actually made a model that is built into a keyboard. I think it’s called the 400. And it’s less expensive than the PC linked above

Perhaps my favorite thing I've ever read on HN :) I love to see it crop up again

The ironic thing about this post is that the author sounds like an awesome dude. Heck, I just read his work in the New Yorker. I wish he could realize he was killing it! And same goes for you, dear reader :)

Well Russia has about 6000 nukes so they could definitely afford to hit every major metro area in the west potentially dozens of times. Unless you live hundreds of miles from the nearest town I’d think it’s safe to assume you’d be dead, if

Yeah I do think that it's pretty implied heavily that it is indeed a 'mainline' entry in the series

Two words: survivorship bias. How many people out there followed a similar strategy as the author, only to fail miserably?

Deleting all my social media accounts today!! 2022 will be the first social media free year I’ve experienced since I was a freshman in high school!

This was the final straw for me, I deleted the last of my social media accounts today (IG and TikTok) after being a user for years. I’ll consider re downloading once there’s a platform that figures out a way to operate without massive socie

I think this is dope. Good job man. I hope this catches on and helps more creators get their content out there. I’ll definitely consider using it

What if they built a giant multiple mile long electromagnetic rail gun that accelerated the payload to a few thousand miles and hour and fired it off into orbit? It would solve the same problem as this spinny thing but would subject the roc

What a coincidence that this pops up on HN as I’m halfway thru Blindsight. It’s somewhat of a relief to hear others find his writing style frustrating… I was starting to think I was just dumber than his normal audience

Am I the only one who thinks that this is largely the fault of the social media giants?

I feel like there is a perverse incentive for FB to police it’s content in a very un-stringent manner, due to the fact that more content = more means of holding its users attention. Like yeah we know there’s some bad stuff on our site but u

This looks cool, how can I get involved helping with this project? I'm a full stack web app developer but I've never worked on an OS before (I'm self-taught). I don't really know where to start.

Dude, thank you for writing this. I had the exact same thing when I got my first full time job and I thought it was a unique problem. You made me feel way less crazy. I’m pretty much over it now, and like you, I had to set some new goals &#

Thanks. I think it's worth mentioning that I'm 27 and almost 4 years into my career in software. I am convinced I have the best job of any of my friends, or just about anyone I meet at my age. I make more money and work less hours

I used to think the good created by social media outweighed the bad. Now I firmly believe the opposite. I actually think I hate Facebook more than any other commercial operation, ever.
