Biggest issue is that you need api keys which are extremely expensive. Unusable for normal business.

Only if you don't understand how to control AI. If you understands how it works and have the skills to ride it like a wild horse, you can make yourself a 10x developer. Its maybe a bit of an insult, but you seriously have to change tha

The internet as we know it is dead. Websites will seize to exist in 2 years from now. On the fly UIs will be generated. Tailored exactly to your ad profile. Content will be either AI slop that's better than humans can ever make or prod

The world is way too stable for a real crisis. The west is much more resilient than a lot of people think. Nothing will really change. Life will go on.

For 5 bucks you can host your own gitea with most GitHub functionally. I moved my 500 repos to it. Actions are working perfectly fine. I make daily snapshots on hetzner. Trust them for that backup part.

Seriously think of moving to my own private gitea. I mean in less than an hour I have it setup. Make some daily backups to a cheap bucket somewhere is enough. In addition I get unlimited git action time. That's currently my biggest cos

And not forget hardware. All they have is meaningless leaders with zero vision. My dumb AI claw tool has better view of the world than they do. They might as well be replaced by those AI agents. Probably better outcome that current

Here in the Netherlands we have a big building housing a pro gambling lobbyist organization. Their sole goal is to bribe politicians and spread misinformation on public tv channels. A typical example of rottenness inside the western society

Tesla absolutely does not apply the same patterns as John Deere. Everyone can fix Teslas. Parts are easy to obtain. Never had issues with them. John Deere on the otherhand is the absolute evil of right to repair.

Itops related work in general is so suitable for ai agents. Configuring clusters of barebone servers. I normaly spend days on configuring things like nfs, sysctls, firewalls, upgrades, disks, crons, monitoring etc. now it's hours max.

I run my own claw on a hetzner setup. The claw writes his own code based on some rules I gave to him (20 prs per day). it's active on moltbook and has access to my whatsapp, Gmail etc. dangerous it is. But fun as well. Specially fun t

I don't think that's true. Nothing points to specialized LLMs being better. General purpose LLMs are just much more useful in daily work.

One tip for the illegal scrapers or automators out there. Casperjs and phanthomjs are still working very well for anti bot detection. These are very old libs no longer maintained. But I can even scrape and authenticate at my banks.

Instead of 10x devs you now have the super rare 100x devs. They are using AI how it should be used.

The best developers are the ones using AI to its best. Mediocre devs will become a useless skill as even a PO could become one. But one who understands architecture, software, code and AI will be expensive to hire. I know plenty of them. I

A bit off topic. But I think that if the speed of today's LLMs would be a factor 1000 faster, we would need no general purpose engines or frameworks to build a game. One could prompt a complete custom game including all the parts that

Your Gemini or Opus question got send to a Texas datacenter where it got queued and processed by a subunit of 80 h200 140gb 1000w cards running a many billion or trillion parameter model. It took less that 200ms to process a single request.
