Duke Nukems are still my favorite games ever. One of the first game I played multiplayer with two laptops. I was 12ish years old. First game was actually retaliator, but that aside. Level design, graphics, sounds and the atmosphere was grou

I am creating a claw that is basically a loop that runs every x minutes. It uses the Claude cli tool. And it builds a memory based on some kind of simple node system. With active memories and fading old memories. I also added functionality

For me Facebook is no longer relevant for friend stuff. But I find it pretty good in group stuff. For example their are groups about my town where I live. Historical groups or modern ones. Or a group about a specific car model I own. I jus

You should go outside of the "web" world. Automotive, medical or heavy industries. You will see that their are plenty of low level developers/engineers our there. Yes even ones born after 2000.

The irony is that software coming from China is a lot more open than western software. Biggest examples are huggingface models mostly coming from Chinese institutions. Its also strategicaly wise for China to go this path.

Google is Google. Too much restrictions on the model output. Ask it to create a pentest or let it request a pub key for ssh access and it will refuse.

Those are the same people that say that China is 30 years behind in chip manufacturing.

My experience is that the AI is surprisingly good in providing solutions which fall in the last 20%. Examples are annoying ui challenges like proper placements or flow challenges. Or caching strategies. Or certain algorithm optimizations.

A philosophical question. Will software in the future be executed completely by a LLM like architecture? For example the control loop of an aircraft control system being processed entirely based on prompt inputs (sensors, state, history etc

Its not patterns engine. It's a association prediction engine.

What about the client ? I find the Claude cliënt better in planning, making the right decision steps etc. it seems that a lot of work is also in the cli tool itself. Specially in feedback loop processing (reading logs. Browsers. Consoles et

Still living the early 2000s eh? Pretty much all interactive responsive apps are all 100% client side rendered. Your claim about SSR being objectively faster looks like a personal vendetta against client side rendered apps. Or javascript. H

Pure client side rendering is the only way to get max speed with lowest latency possible. With ssr you always have bigger payloads or double network rounds.

Nothing gets worse in computers. Name me one thing. And if the current output quality of LLM stays the same but speed goes up 1000, quality of the generated code can be higher.

Bbs. Downloaded first shareware version of doom. Was it 4mb or something? I remember I had like 5kb/s and paid 5 cents a minute. My parents weren't happy those days. Now they are :)

Actually we all knew and agreed on this. Just not every aspect of it was known beforehand. Like agents being in a review loop. I consider myself the opposite of sociopathic btw

To be honest I think there should be an option to completely hide all code that Claude generates and uses. Summaries, strategies, plans, logs, decisions and questions is all I need. I am convinced that in a few years nobody cares about the

Whereas I agree that working with machines would help dramatically in achieving science, there would be in your world no one truly understanding you. You would be alone. Can't imagine how you could prefer that.

Well it's the prediction part that is complicated. How that works is a mystery. But even our LLMs are for a certain part a mystery.
