Mind naming the one you used? We'll have a spare iPhone soon when my wife upgrades and it might be time for me to go back to iOS after many years. I'm just a bit worried about some apps and things that might be harder to migrate l

What happened since the 60s in your opinion? If I were to guess, it seems pubic policy in recent decades has often been founded on shaky ground. Anti-communism, anti-drug policy, various health/welfare policies, and so on are often not

Well, one argument would be quality vs quantity, i.e. some people may not weigh all lives equally. Fascist systems seem to be good at promoting such outcomes.

I was working on an ecommerce site once and we got emails when customers left reviews/feedback. I forwarded them to customers because it was a convenient way to show their comments then follow up. Then I noticed that some of the text w

I read it was more about institutional dysfunction. It examines a different one (police, media, unions, schools, politics, etc) and we see how what the people want or do doesn't really matter a lot in the end - the system has a life of

Ad spend by incumbents will also drive up the price of advertising in general since it's a limited resource, making an uphill battle for the smaller competitors where it matters. It's another moat.

Yes I don't see how this isn't 'passing off' in a trademark sense, when I hear about some of the worst offenders.

Quite young still but I can't remember exactly. Definitely under 2 years and probably under 1, they mature quickly. He pretty much hates me now (male) but likes my wife, even though I feed him every day.

Interesting the behaviour mellowed after the fact. When we did it for our rabbit - because he'd already become a little grumpy and aggressive bundle of hate - the vet said it's probably too late to revert the changes but at least

I really like the idea behind Facebook's 2G Tuesdays, but I'm not sure if it helped achieve anything apart from PR, or if it's still going.

X-Frame-Options should fix it now? If a server sets that header, the browser shouldn't show it in a frame. But of course, the server has to be set up properly. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/

I agree with your general point and never pre-order anymore for those reasons. However: people are getting refunds. In countries with consumer protection laws, it looks like there is little downside to buying in to the hype, if you can get

I think December was more about Christmas sales than appeasement. They didn't want to miss the holiday season and have to wait months more for people to pay off their debts.

Gamers unfortunately often make an argument equating number of hours to value for money. Padded open world games are the natural result. You trade a nice, tight narrative for an experience spread thin over more hours.

Interesting. I also just remembered that I've walked around corners a bit too close after marathon FPS sessions when I was younger (apparently I forgot I wasn't modeled a point, and had shoulders that bump into things).
