I read the original interview and his comment seemed tongue-in-cheek and aware that it would court needless attention. I don't feel it warrants this level of scrutiny.

I guess more than just saying "this is bunkum" - I'm talking about examining the evidence and analytical techniques on both sides and engaging in debate rather than shutting the other side down, etc. Just citing stuff is a su

The point is that in society the ratio of men to women is 50/50. I'd also argue achieving that is a reasonable aim in female-dominated jobs, such as some teaching jobs.

He's saying that discussing a scientific theory requires more than just "my opinion is that it's all bunkum."

Well, because it's the best scientific explanation we have. You're not actually debating, just complaining.

There's also the argument that wanting to reproduce is a natural human urge, and you're asking people to go against a very key biological instinct. We haven't done all we can to protect the environment. We haven't even t

I think what you're doing is a great exercise, culturally, but I wouldn't use it to assess anyone's performance objectively. What happens if you have a great employee who finds it difficult to articulate on these points? Woul

A lot of online engagement data looks like a power law distribution on large platforms. The mean (obviously) has huge variance. Say you have multiple metrics per user like this. You can still apply k-means but the huge variance makes it ra

It would seem more expensive to police this adequately, prosecute, collect the fines, etc. I'm not sure your plan could ever have ROI. That's forgetting the impact on the life of people who actually live there in the short term.
