Pretty sure if I downloaded and compiled Tcl/Tk 7.6.x source code on a modern Linux box, it would run my Tcl/Tk 7.6.x "system monitor" code from 1995 or 1996 just fine.

Same here.. I'm usually driving some conglomerate of my first 3 cars (all VWs) - MK1 Jetta GLI, MK2 Golf GTi 16v or VR6 Corrado (or sometimes a Scirocco which is related to the Corrado). And gear shifts are like 30-50cm long, and then

I gotta say.. I'm way out of my depth on that one. As a guy who's mostly put some 401K $$ into index funds, and has the odd RSU/ESPP stock to sell - will any of these be an issue when I sell some of them later? I've only

I usually stay off X. The number of sycophants in that thread is alarming. I don't want "apps on demand" that change when the AI training gets updated, and now the AI infers differently than yesterday - I want an app the bank

I don't use, and barely passed that circuits course using partial differential equations. But at least now I have some idea of what they are, and where they are useful. I also don't use Fourier transforms much, or Taylor or McLaur

Stop selling Windows 7 so much.. As a 40-year veteran of tech, "latest web features" are usually a red flag for me more than anything.. More spying, more PII selling, more addiction attempts, etc..
