I agree with what you’re saying but just wanted to interject with a weird bit of Canadianism. I’ve never found a good way to describe this to non Canadians so if this doesn’t make sense, it’s me. (This is very pedantic.) When I pay with a c

Hey friend! Thanks for writing such a friendly, helpful reply. You’re 100% right that I need a new bank. I spent more than an hour on the phone this morning with them and by the end, cryptocurrency was looking pretty good… I’m going to do a

I’m not an expert in this area and this is based mostly upon memory. But I’m of an age where I remember the introduction of ATMs into my communities. Cash used to be cheaper, even if you took it out of a different bank’s machine. Nowadays,

I live in a remarkably shitty, crime ridden city and having locks changed is a standard part of rental contracts. It’s so standard that every August, our local papers’ “student guides” suggest that new renters ask about having locks changed

You know friend, I’m a native English speaker (and to make things worse, I’m Canadian) and I’d be proud if I write such a good summary. You did great. This comment was a pleasure to read!

I’m an old developer and I’ve been worried about the same thing for most of my career. We’ll either be fine or you’ll have a far easier time switching careers than me. :) But we’ll likely be fine. Just keep a healthy respect for security, k

Are you in a position where you could wade in, start learning and maybe start a simple side project? If so, why not try something small and see if it makes you feel creative?

I wonder if there are more tasteful ways to do it.

When I play the role of mentor, I like to reverse that relationship as often as possible. I’ve learned a tremendous amount from being a mentor because I’m just as open to being mentored by my mentee. I find that relationships break down too

I noticed on a second read, that the article jumps between one student and two students. It would be tough to go through fact checking and editing and for that confusion to remain. Anyways, I think you nailed it - I don’t trust the article.

So, you will ask for citations and then rip them apart because “every piece of software is vulnerable”?? If you don’t like what you get, why did you ask for it? At first, you were merely overly aggressive. But this is turning into bullying.

Riddled is a common word that native English speakers tend to use. It’s not a tell. Your aggression, on the other hand, is uncommon. It is a tell.
