Yeah, I moved out of the city and have a 100% remote job now, and am enjoying the lower housing costs. If you didn't job search during the lockdowns, now is the time to do it.

I faced this off, said I wouldn't sign until after they'd done all their checks. Then I got radio silence, could see all the checks passed on their end. Didn't end up signing, kept my current job. Glad I refused. I don't

This why I've had to deal with very regressive HR on-boarding processes. I'm sick of companies treating new employees like their data doesn't matter and they can be required to sign up to any service no matter what the ToS is
