I'm a little baffled by the pricing here — Microsoft's goal in the desktop world seemed to more or less break even on OS and push the application suite for the real cash. Does anyone have a sense of whether this makes sense at all? Perhaps

I noticed that too. I hope Google will release their own native apps for iOS before too long, unless Apple dings them for 'duplicating existing functionality'. I love having the transit directions in SF, it's pretty well done across Muni, B

They're not just going to render everything 1:1 as if it were a 30"-class screen. This is going to work like the 'new' iPad screen and render text at high res and images at whatever dimensions are natural for the layout (uses 50% scale up

That's a perfectly reasonable approach — we did that at PBworks a long time ago. Totally transparent to users if done right. You can also declare password bankruptcy and zero out everything. That forces password resets for your entire user

Part of the charm of a tiny team of guys making a clever product is the unique voice they bring to the game. They'll will absolutely need to polish up that image to move too much farther into the enterprise world, but you don't really boots
