I was thinking a lot about how these restrictions are paved with good intentions, but every time these new security measures are implemented we see criminals adopt new strategies and continue going about their day like nothing ever happened

As wild as this sounds, redis should not exposed to the internet and this appears to be an authenticated RCE. This is similar to claiming that a PSQL query grants code execution when its actually a feature. These systems are typically not t

This is roughtly in-line how I ended up 'hacking' a website on accident simply because I had the tools to do so and sol happily used them. I have a global list of instructions appended to every single session so even harmless task

I found the biggest problem with fable is the random reasoning_extraction refusals as well as cyber refusals when it sees hex because only hackers use hex.

Rather interesting that this makes sonnet 5 look even worse! There is no reason to use sonnet over opus with low or no reasoning at all.

At the start bluesky was actually pretty nice, but now it's just this weird bubble where disagreements don't exist and when I checked out like a month ago there was just so much damn p***.

No? You still pay for cache reads... Actually this is actually MORE expensive than just redoing prefill if your context is below 100k.

We generally don't care enough to test it since it would be a significate waste of resources that's why we have models in the trillions of parameters instead of continuing to train smaller models smaller models hit a wall and gene

This is mostly just to reiterate myself as the original question was "Does this matter?" Everything else is simply justifying why it shouldn't, the specifics don't really matter as there is no legal framework to stop chi

My entire point was that this was not achieved purely from distillation and claiming that is slander against open research.

I recommend reading some of their research it's honestly astonishing how intelligent some of their solutions are. Kimi specifically relies heavily on reasoning traces which is largely due to their training strategy and will perform poo

Never claimed that it is irrelevant. And kimi k3 is on the same level and sometimes outperforms fable 5 - that cannot be explained by distillation. The reason why gap is not closed is simply the fact that fable was trained months ago so in

Does this matter? Distillation is not illegal by every definition of the word. There are millions of samples available on huggingface and models explicitely trained on output produced by fable. There has been no action taken against them. A

It is infact mathematical proof that is somewhat well understood although specifics are debated. We do in fact know that the limit follows information density law which is something we can measure and we are pretty close to it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Model_collapse - you want to use sigmoid 1.0, but the closer you are to 1.0 the higher the chance your model will collapse so you use 0.99-0.98, but those lead to data loss so after n pass

They have not increased in capabilities, they have increased in specialization. If you train a small model in another domain it will begin losing capabilities in the former domain. This is effectively the sigmoid problem. Although I will ad

We already have a 1gb model that is as capable as it will ever be, there's a proven ceiling that cannot be passed. For example: you can't make a mice-sized brain as smart as a human brain no matter how hard you try.

It's a double whammy, the model is too big to realistically "move" so it has to be smaller, smaller models cannot become that intelligent due to well.. math. Therefore it is science fiction.

This is science fiction, these models don't have access to their own weights (and even then)* what would be a lot more scary is a model as capable as sol that's able to run on consumer hardware without taking up several terabytes

Okay, but the models today will be useful for a lot longer than sonnet 3.5. They're already more than capable to do nearly anything you throw at them given enough time and human assistance. The next step up is faster, cheaper and bette
