It may very well be that the algorithm is completely objective, but not necessarily "fair". This is the problem with profiling algorithms.

Unlock the devices? If the owner used fingerprint authentication or a passphrase, I would hope Apple can't unlock those devices. Also, I would imagine not everyone would want their devices unlocked by family members if they die say

It's much worse for pictures than fingerprints because most people have tons of pictures of themselves online now, and many are also public. It's probably just a matter of time before malicious hackers start spoofing their identit
