Maybe I'm misunderstanding the article, but my reading is that the stock went up after the sale. So the CEO left money on the table.

As soon as two people work on the same branch, rebasing becomes a problem. As long as you're the only one modifying the branch, rebasing works nicely.

I use stashes via the autostash feature. For unspeakable reasons, I have to have locally modified files in my repo to run the software and the tests. (Of course, it shouldn't be like this.) So I can `git pull --rebase --autostash` an

It’s similar in PHP and Java: you use the reverse domain name as a namespace.

In Europe, data that can be used to identify a person is also protected. For example, IP address plus timestamp is protected. Because you could obtain customer information from the ISP. That's how I understand things.

They stopped a representation that allowed them to identify that the same person visited again. That’s an id number. They guessed age and gender.

I know it’s hard to get software projects done on time. In this case it’s even harder NOT to be on time.

DHMO is a very dangerous substance. For example, in gaseous state it causes skin irritation, severe burns even.

I fondly remember CFengine. Though it did require installation on the host to be managed, but that seemed rather simple: Log in, install CFengine and git, clone the repo, and off you go to run it.

The way I understand sushsh‘s suggestion is that CSV is an alternative to an API gateway and message queue. I don’t think the suggestion was to replace a database with CSV.

I don’t quite understand what sync does. Regarding save, I think I don’t want the auto-amend functionality. If sync does pull and rebase then that’s very nice.

The very title of the page is „Code faster“. The there IS this sentence: To stay fast and healthy, keep your hands on your keyboard. Together this says that you code faster by (or when?) avoiding the mouse.

> The question is if being humble will ultimately negatively impact your performance. Interesting. When I'm humble, this means I don't think of myself as a rockstar ninja developer. I'm fallible just like the next guy.
