I've been wanting to pick up lua for ages. My only issue, as always, is where to start. Is there a runtime I can install where I can start creating with lua? Cross platform, windows and Linux? That will allow someone with no c/c++

Why would you even use brave? You want to view advertisements just use Chrome. If you don't there's Firefox and ublock origin.

Google didn't just target flutter with layoffs. They also run a number of there apps on the framework, and, unless I'm mistaken, kotlin is no where near flutter in terms of functionality. Not to mention flutter is open source, so

What a non-story. I hate it when news outlets do this. TL;DR: there's security issues with mobile networks that are being exploited and there's technically difficult solutions no one wants to implement. No detail or analysis or an

I'm still using iCal and vCard for this, by way of simple open source apps on mobile and desktop synced by WebDAV. Even use them for tasks/todos and notes (vjournal). Always amazes me people are still rolling their own versions of

I'm using dart/flutter. They don't get a lot of love on HN, but for speed of development and experimentation they're excellent (hot reload being extremely useful), plus they're cross platform meaning you can decide
