Everywhere I've worked (for the most part) you had to be there between 8-5 (roughly). You just couldn't leave early even if you came in early. I know it's not like that everywhere. My current job I am almost always the last o

I recall reading that anything over an hour disrupts your sleep pattern. 20 minutes might be a magical number for best effects. It also might be the length of a lunch someone gives up to nap after eating (or could be the full lunch).

"Using nothing more than the built-in microphones and speakers of standard computers..." Are mics common on desktops? I would like to think I'm not that out of touch. I get that in laptops they are common. Still pretty cool.

I thought the post was good. The short descriptions and images made most of it easy to digest and not so long I got bored.

I don't see that really. I see something blue-ish when there is a zero or an eight. On those numbers to the left there is a small 'thing' on the left side of each.

Even though I'm in the US and that's the date format I know it didn't occur to me that was a date. Had it been 'on 11/16' or a having the year would have been a dead giveaway. I think the combination of not hav

I (probably) did miss that. I only have so much time to spend on here and so much stuff just falls through the cracks. It's the worst of both worlds then already.

I think we are in agreement here. I had assumed one of the reasons it's "not done like that" is "blowing up the stack" but only half of that was given at the time. Maybe I misunderstood altogether. I just appreciate

I like the way you explained it. The way it was written above seems like he was just told he's wrong but not any of the reasons why. Might just be my lack of knowledge in the area but it made the teacher's response more understand

Wouldn't the upside be that at least they'd have to ask? Just saying there is a difference even if they get the data either way. Well, there should be at least.

I might be completely off here but it almost seems like they don't actually want people to quit. They just want the tax money. I know when I smoked I could get a 2 week supply of patches OR gum (at the time) but that just wasn't

I like that you can edit after you've saved it. Doesn't matter if it's simple if it's intuitive and works.

I am glad that they said the current laws are enough. It always seems like people use these issues to get more power. I want to say something about how that probably works for their cause but I can only imagine most people[1] 'thinking

I have mixed feelings here. On one hand I like the idea of alternatives to IAP. On the other (if I'm reading correctly) they are putting this on top of the already existing ads/videos ads/IAP. That they put it next to the IAP

I cannot think of the name of it but this reminds me of a scene in a movie. Vaguely it was set in the future and insurance owned the world (something like that). At one point the main character was in the bathroom and the toilet did an anal
