Mine when locked has a small touch section labeled 'emergency call'. I assume it goes through to 911 (or relevant number). I'm tempted to press it but it's not an emergency. I assumed most phones had something similar. E

The first two are fine by me. Sadly a lot of the teens I meet (younger siblings) think that soaking themselves in Axe means they don't smell. With a history like Listerine's I'm surprised I've never come across a chain e

It is even worse for the people who have bleeding disorders and can't take things like aspirin. I've found Vicodin helped with the pain from my teeth (pulling) but didn't do anything (except make me drowsy) when I scratched m

Great for the post-apocalyptic world! Maybe good for short term natural disasters or outdoorsy types who want to stay connected. I find some humor in that having a cell phone on and charged is still 'off the grid' (I know they mea

I haven't done a lot of reading on self driving cars. No more than the occasional article on here. Do they have plans for cars that can operate in all weather conditions? I mean I never noticed if they ever said that the cars were onl

Probably not directly but you could use it to remember where you were and try to find someone who saw you. I can see it being used to help the prosecution with no trouble. I am just guessing though.

The images on apple.com make it seem closer to red. Maybe it's my monitor here are work (though other colors seem fine). Nothing wrong with pink, but you're braver than I. Edit: I went back and some of the other pictures make it a

That is a good idea. Limiting the options so that the first bit is like a tutorial helps I think. About the animation speeds there were some that I just didn't need to see the animation at all but had no way of getting to the next page

Not really gameplay but the tutorial was slow (paced). I understood most of it by reading the text but still had to wait for the animations and had no way of skipping them. Overall it was actually more difficult than it appeared on the face

I don't disagree with anyone here. It had occurred to me that communication would be difficult (I don't think impossible). Mostly I thought the survival skills is what would be learned and then you'd be just like everyone el

I had a strange notion recently that if you were to drop the average person (not an Einstein or a Hawking) and dropped them into say the 1500s Europe. Most people think we'd be regarded as super smart and awesome. This comedian explain

What I find amazing is how recently things like germs[1] were given real attention. I'd heard about Ignaz Semmelweis from a book I read and to think less than 200 years ago you would go to a hospital and they didn't bother to was

How would that be different than replacing img1 with img2 on hover? Just curious. Mostly I'm indifferent to these kinds of posts because CSS is getting more complicated faster than I can learn it (it seems but it might just be me).

Do you need to have a savings that you can live off of for 6 months (if you can't work)? I agree with the others in this thread the idea of moving is very easy. Just getting a visa can be expensive.
