Not on some amd board. It's a common complain, my previous board would have a pre-bios delay of 5 to 10 second with xmp enable and still up to 5 without xmp. I changed board and it's now a lot better, but still slower than intel.

That's funny, when i was twelve i need to store some data and i didn't really know database or csv, so i actually used the ascii control character to implement tables and record. I later discovered sqlite, soooo much simpler...

the two are not mutually exclusive, are they? You can have a ribbon with standard icons right? I see ribbon as an alternative to the menubar plus toolbar layout , more than visual style .

i really loved xul form mozilla. i build a lot of tiny apps with it, unfortunately it's no longer supported. I also used it to build the kind of bridge you mention, it was for dynamically build gui for cli apps that did job processing

When i started testing this, i used a "master" computer as serial "router" with 6 serial port, so that the "slave" computer could talk to each other. I quickly found that i need some sort of management protocol
