I think its a combination of a few things. First I think there are automod policies that use keywords in these conroversial topics to throttle. Second I think an ugly truth people don't want to admit is tech is heavily slanted to his s

I've heard the same said about r/the_donald etc. That argument falls flat when an overarching theme is a reality. Terrible people always try and lump themselves in with the truly innocent who are oppressed to engender sympathy as

I agree and its disheartening to see the amount of responses in opposition. There is a massive number of comments on this post compared to most social topics, or ANY topic for that matter, and a lot of them are arguing it's wrong or ba

Tangentially related tip: Inside most modern car keyfobs there is an "emergency" physical key...or should be (recently saw one where the space was empty as the dealer had failed to include it) It's not marked or obvious from

What is a workable answer when it comes to behavior and speech other than a rules based society with limits? I don't see truly oppressed people talking about this problem as the concept was meant to protect, I see people who want to be

What would be the alien/human equivalent of an airplane that natives in uncontacted areas shot arrows at? I can't come up with a believable example for the aliens to be discussing back at home base.

I apologize if it seemed like a personal jab. I am admittedly sensitive to the issue given my experiences on both sides of the proverbial exam table in the American system. Every time I try and discuss the issue with people in my area they

You are getting backlash because it seems mean to wish suffering on anyway, and never funny, but honestly I have learned this is the only way most people acquire empathy, though personal suffering. Even then a large number still find a way

This has to be a "worst nightmare" for most people. I came across a guy a very long time ago who had been in a long term care unit after an auto accident for something like 15 years at that point. The story I was told, and I don&#
