To be fair to them, it's not obvious to me what their politics are. Their willingness to complain about the homeless suggests that they might be less liberal than the avg. SF resident.

Airplane safety is fairly black-and-white compared to, say, the decision to partner with law enforcement or to censor certain kinds of content on YouTube. Given that Silicon Valley engineers have attitudes that are not broadly representativ

"Campaign" is a loaded word. Anyway, it looks like I misread the map. It would have been far more productive for someone to just point that out, rather than threatening a ban.

I just read over the guidelines, and I'm wondering if this actually violates any of them or if you just won't tolerate comments that you disagree with on sensitive subjects. Would you be open to amending the guidelines with a list

Why would it even involve a loop? And even your lambda function were: while True: pass Lambda functions time out after a period of time that you specify (limited to 15m max).

I don't think there's a single issue the tech community is more deluded about than mass immigration from the third world and its cost.

You've got to be kidding me. The sentences are excruciating to read. New Yorker prose is in a different universe. The writing is spare and lucid. You can't evaluate the quality of prose with "wc -w".

Very cool that they're offering this. They should also create a marketplace for selling your remaining committed funds at a discount. That would be a REALLY bold, pro-customer move.

I remember learning about this in a data structures class, and it is a remarkable data structure. But the author of this article needs to pick up a copy of Strunk and White. This reads like it was written by a high school junior. Awful, awf
