Sedentary work is bad for your health too, if taken to extremes. Lack of exercise, long hours sitting in front of your machine, stress, bad diet... that's not going to be good for your blood pressure.

Also, I would say that if the absence of "desktop grade" UI functions makes the web dev's focus on the app's core functionality at the expense of eye candy, then I'm all for it. But then, I don't use drag & drop too much myself.

I'm probably nit-picking here, but TouchOSC doesn't generate sound by itself. It is just a controller application that you use to send OSC messages to either a synthesizer or a "real" computer that actually generates the sound. A question f

I think those were drafts. The Dilbert strips are created using some computer illustration software (Adams even has his own private font that he uses for lettering the strip). So changing the punchlines to something funny wouldn't have take

Thanks for the transcript. I remember back in the early 90s reading an interview of some Sci-Fi author (William Gibson I think, but I'm not 100% sure) where he derided the Internet for not being up to par with CD-ROM's.

I guess it depends how you drink it, but I found yerba mate to be more stimulant/jitter inducing than coffee. At least if you drink it the Argentinian way with the gourd and straw. The official story in Argentina is that yerba has "mateine"
