If the javascript comes from your computer (because it's embedded in the page you self-host), how could it get compromised?

You can download this safely from windows. GnuPG doesn't have a valid ssl certificate ( https://www.gnupg.org ).

I really like this. Especially the self-contained html file you send around afterwards. You should recommend people to download the html and then save it instead of using the page itself. Maybe make a big download button. Also, remove googl

Man, if you thought using GPL software is painful now, you should have tried things 20 years ago.

It ain't pretty, but gitk will pop up a tkinter view on your current repo, with a graph and the ability to cherry-pick commits with the mouse.

If the serial numbers are randomly distributed in some finite span, and you have the serial number of three tanks, say: a: 000001 b: 000101 c: 100000 What is the probability that c is not the highest serial number and that

This may be a bit germane to the topic, but does anyone know if Ubuntu 14.04 will have docker, as in running on it (and not running 14.04 inside docker).

I wonder how hard it would be to port all of the python standard library to java? Sort of have python.csv.reader, python.csv.DictReader, etc, which all conform as java-ish as possible to http://docs.python.org/release/2

git status is 10 times faster on my machine for the same repository than hg status.

This is older than git 1.9, but git supports mercurial repositories[1]. I used to have to use mercurial to deal with kiln (which couldn't convert our repo to git), but now I happily work with git and everything is 10 times faster. [1]:

You have all of what, 5 years to transition away from upstart before 14.04 is no longer supported? Medium-range indeed.

Stephen Glass tried to get into the California Bar Association but was rejected, probably because of his past history as a reporter for The New Republic. Don't know what that has to do with either hookers or Rupert Murdoch.

The thing to remember about performance reviews (especially for technical people who's responsibilities don't change that much) is that your first one takes forever to write, but then you can copy-paste from year-to-year.

I got annoyed with Go when I learnt how hard it is to sort arbitrary lists. Doing the following in Go is quite a pain: scores = [{'name': 'Bob', 'score': 20}, {'name': 'Jane', 'score&#x
