The trailing preposition is different because it was always good Old English and only recently proscribed. And what did we ever ban something our ancestors were so loyal to for?

Codexon, on this site people use a civil tone. Please read this: http://ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html Also I'd rather not debate economics, sorry.

By leaving out the definition of that long function name you mask the increased cognitive load of your change. If you include the definition of your new function it doesn't look like an improvement anymore.

So who is buying all these banks' assets? (Assets = money owed to these banks, like loans, credit card balances, etc.) Wells Fargo's news release didn't say.

He appears to ignore such evidence, assuming it exists. I don't know much about the case; I'm interested in the OP's model of thinking about cases.

The redness of men in Egyptian art is based on the fact that men's skin is redder, due to more hemoglobin closer to the surface.

You're right, if the crime was clearly committed by multiple assailants you need to find another killer. But the OP throws out the evidence that indicates multiple assailants. False written statements are often signed in police stations.

Exactly. Codexon, saving just causes another, ostensibly wiser, form of spending. If you save your money in a bank, then they will lend it out where it will be spent, usually on capital goods (whatever that means anymore, or ever meant).

Hmmm. So using this model, what would the OP say if there were Knox DNA under the victim's fingernails? If her roommate weren't a murder victim (more precisely, that we don't have any reason to think that there's been a murder, since that

The point of the post on lesswrong.com is that since it's agreed that Guede murdered the victim, you have completely explained away the murder. So now you must start over, from scratch, as if the victim were still alive, and ask how likely

Can you use your existing bash configuration files with zsh? It looks like zsh isn't picking up my .profile file on my OS X box, or that it doesn't care about what it found there. The bigger question is, what is the switching cost?
