No. The state is a criminal racket, and you have no obligation to sponsor it (if something, you're morally obliged to try to avoid being a victim). And this is not only because 99% of whatever you pay in tax doesn't come back in t

No one deserves to be kidnapped and throw in a cell for the victimless crime of tax evasion. RIP, McAfee. In the 20th century: ~8 million were murdered in mundane crimes. ~175 million people were murdered by the state. Democracy is just vio

If you want to learn more about how patent system works and how the troll lawyers take advantage of society by using it to terrorize inventors, I recommend you watch the documentary by X-Plane's creator Austin Mayer, The Patent Scam.

Taxation works exactly like this. You might even want to establish an isolated society, but if you try, good luck dealing with the IRS.

Take a look at Fossil too: https://www.fossil-scm.org/ It's the distributed version control (and more) used by SQLite. Most people have no idea about how cool the SQLite ecosystem is, and how it's used even on avi

I don't need to have a solution for everything, right? And the answer to your question: there are many private regulations entities for different businesses. If you expect regulation to come from the state, and for stuff such as effici

No. I've got a similar feeling for other silly stuff, like if I create a temporary file and lose its reference. I start thinking, "okay, in 10 years, it'll still be there," even though this is not usually true.

I'm the OP. Well, I've used UUID to generate ids on the client-side for a metrics system. Well, if someone submitted duplicated data, my server would ignore it. The context is critical to decide whether you can let clients generat
